The Tesco Community Grants scheme welcomes applications from all schools across the UK with particular emphasis on supporting projects that offer food and assistance to children. 

 Examples of eligible applications, with a specific emphasis on food security, children and young individuals include:

  • School breakfast clubs or snacks.
  • Equipment for indoor/outdoor activities.
  • Development of food growing areas.
  • Support for after-school clubs.
  • Food banks and holiday hunger programs.
  • Healthy eating projects for families on a budget.
  • Brownie/Scout group activities.

School Funding Opportunities

The Foyle Foundation’s School Library Scheme offers grants ranging from £2,000 to £10,000 to UK state schools to improve their library provisions.

Applications close on September 30, 2024.

Priority is for primary schools up to KS2, but secondary schools needing resources for catch-up or transition reading programs are also considered. Specialist schools serving all SEN age groups may also apply.

School Funding Opportunities

Since their launch in 2017, Local School Nature Grants have helped nearly 3,500 schools to improve their outdoor learning provision, enabling thousands more children to profit from time in nature.

Open to schools and early years settings in England, Scotland, and Wales, this outdoor learning fund has two elements – £500 of outdoor equipment chosen from a catalogue of over 100 items, and an outdoor learning training course for staff.
