Discover the fascinating world of bees and inspire young minds through our engaging workshop, where primary school students will explore the importance of these incredible pollinators and the wonders of their hive.

WOW DAY OVERVIEW

The hi-impact team bring their portable beehive with a bee colony and queen into the classroom. It has observation panels where pupils can see the bees at work and try to find the queen. 

Other bee-related activities take place that are linked to the year group’s science curriculum.

WOW DAY ACTIVITIES

Researching ways to protect bees, creating bee food webs, producing videos of the bee life cycle, drawing a bee garden, using magnifying glasses to observe the bees as they go about their work and investigating the hexagonal cells
