Empower young engineers to construct their dreams and bridge the gap to success through our hands-on bridge building workshop for primary school students, where they’ll learn the principles of structural design, teamwork, and problem-solving while constructing sturdy and innovative bridges.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Teams of pupils collaborate to use large scale construction equipment to build a bascule bridge (drawbridge)
WORKSHOP ACTIVITIES
Pupils learn how to connect the pieces together using nuts and bolts and how to create moving or solid joins. The teams design and construct their moving bridge with appropriate support depending on their age. There is an emphasis on working together and evaluating and improving their bridge as they go.
