WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Pupils investigate the anatomy of stick insects and their habitats. Following this, they become wildlife photographers by learning to take up close pictures of the stick insects and use those photographs to annotate using scientific terminology. Finally, the pupils will get the opportunity to hold a stick insect.
WORKSHOP ACTIVITIES
View stick insects under a microscope on the interactive board. Discuss its anatomy and adaptations. Learn to zoom and focus cameras to take photographs. Use a photo editing app to add detail to the photograph about the stick insects anatomy and habitat. Hold a Stick Insect.
